PAST ECR EVENTS:

The 2015 Fourth Grade Peace Learning Connection Program at Koinonia Environmental Center, spanned five days (September 21-28), reached 116 students and involved five ECR facilitators, six Manchester University facilitators, and six teacher/interns.

On January 21, ECR was awarded this Spirit of the Community plaque at the North Manchester Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner. Jeff Hawkins presented the award and Jim Shively accepted. ECR was represented at the dinner by six other ECR board and staff members.

Mediating Interpersonal Conflict class of 2016.

During February of 2016, ECR offered a 32-hour Mediating Interpersonal Conflict Training that reached 13 students and was facilitated by two ECR Trainers and three ECR Mediation Coaches.

We are working to update this gap in our timeline.

Parenting the Teen Brain Workshop -

• Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Wabash, IN, 12:30-3:30pm
• This was a FREE workshop, with lunch included, thanks to grant money from the Wabash County Community Foundation -- specifically funds from the Good Deeds unrestricted endowment, the A. Blair and Patricia Kennedy Helman charitable endowment, and the Carol Horn honorary endowment for conflict resolution.
• There were three ECR trainers and 18 participants.

School Attendance Mediation Mediator Training-

• October 2025, online and in North Manchester, IN
• Seven people attended this training, which included three zoom sessions and an in-person role play day to practice their mediation skills.
• There were three ECR trainers.
• Five participants completed the training, coming from Huntington, Vigo, and Wabash counties.
