Dear ECR Supporter:
Our first priority continues to be youth and youth
at risk. At ECR, we are committed to helping train and
mentor young people to learn productive, successful conflict resolution
and life enhancing skills.
These life skills include -
Training in conflict resolution also provides these
benefits to our youth:

It teaches citizenship skills for living in a
democratic and culturally diverse society

It teaches students to care about others and treat
them respectfully
-
It is a proven positive link to academic achievement
-
It reduces stress
-
It contributes to the prevention of drug and
alcohol abuse
The time is now and the need is urgent to
address this growing problem. Due to limited resources and
declining budgets, many schools are unable to adequately address the
problem.
Founded in 1988, ECR is one of the Midwest's leading
training centers in mediation and conflict resolution. Our success has
created increased requests and referrals for our regionally acclaimed
programs and trainings. Our professional staff fulfills these requests
but additional funding is needed to meet the growing demand and need.
